By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Gram flour (besan), Oil Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Jain Pitla 3 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) 1 tablespoon Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon Green chillies chopped 5-6 Curry leaves 1/2 cup Cabbage chopped 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Lemon juice 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Advertisment Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add green chillies, curry leaves and cabbage and mix well. Add some water alongwith add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and gram flour, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add lemon juice and chopped coriander and mix well. Serve hot garnished with a coriander sprig.
