This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Nov 2016 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Sprouted Field Beans, Rice Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Rice Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Dalimbi Bhaat 1 cup Sprouted Field Beans peeled 1 cup Rice soaked 2 tablespoons Ghee 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida 20-25 Curry leaves 1 tablespoon Goda masala 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Jaggery (gur) grated 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat ghee in a handi. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves and sauté till the seeds change colour. Add vaal and mix. Add goda masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder and mix. Drain and add rice and mix. Add salt and mix. Add 2½ cups boiling water and mix. Add jaggery and coriander leaves and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
