Ingredients
- ½ cup split green gram skinless (dhuli moong dal)
- ½ cup noodles cooked
- 1 tablespoon rice flour
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic chopped
- 1-2 green chillies chopped
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- Salt to taste
- 1½ tandoori mayonnaise
- Oil for deep-frying
- Green chutney to serve
Method
- Put split green gram in a blender jar, add a little water and blend to a smooth paste. Transfer the paste into a bowl, add cooked noodles, rice flour, coriander leaves, garlic, green chillies, crushed black peppercorns, salt and tandoori mayonnaise and mix well.
- Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan. Dampen your hand and drop in small balls of the mixture into hot oil and deep fry till golden and crispy Drain on absorbent paper.
- Arrange the pakodas on a serving platter and serve hot along with green chutney.
