Ingredients list for Chicken And Oats Cake
- 1 cup Chicken mince
- 1 cup Oats
- 2 medium Onions
- 10-12 Curry leaves
- 2 teaspoons Garlic chopped
- 2 Green chillies chopped
- ½ inch Ginger chopped
- 1½ teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 2½ teaspoons Garam masala powder
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tablespoon Rice flour
- to shallow fry Olive oil
Method
- Finely chop onions. Roughly chop curry leaves and place both in a bowl. Add garlic, green chillies, ginger, 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1½ teaspoons garam masala powder, crushed peppercorns, salt and chicken mince and mix well. Add chopped coriander and mix well. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Grind oats coarsely and transfer into a bowl. Add rice flour, remaining garam masala powder, remaining red chilli powder, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Spread this mixture onto a plate.
- Divide the chicken mince mixture into equal portions and shape them into medium size cakes.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan.
