Ingredients list for Tamatar Pereeda
- 6-8 Eggs
- 8-10 Tomatoes chopped
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 3-4 Green chillies chopped
- 3 tablespoons Ghee
- 3 medium Onions sliced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder (deghi mirch)
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
- to taste Salt
- a pinch Sugar
Method
- Heat oil in a large pan and add sliced onion. Sauté till light brown. Add ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chillies, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and sauté for a minute.
- Add chopped coriander and tomatoes and cook on a medium heat till the tomatoes are done. Add vinegar, salt and sugar.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the pan, make depressions for eggs, break the eggs in the depression, sprinkle with salt and cover the pan.
- Cook on a very slow heat till the eggs are set. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves, serve hot.
