Sweet and Sour Gobhi Cauliflower florets marinated with tomato puree, honey and masalas and cooked with whole garam masala By Sanjeev Kapoor 02 Dec 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cauliflower, Tomatoes Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 51-60 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve Taste Sweet and Sour Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Sweet and Sour Gobhi 1 medium Cauliflower cut into florets 2 large Tomatoes pureed 1 large Onion pureed 2 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Honey 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 2 tablespoons Mustard oil 1 tablespoon Ghee 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2 Black cardamom 2 small Green cardamom 3 Clove 1 inch stick Cinnamon 2 Bay leaves Method In a bowl mix together cauliflower, tomato puree, onion paste, ginger garlic paste, salt honey, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and mustard oil. Mix well and set aside for one hour. Heat ghee in a non stick pan, add cumin seeds, when they splutter add black and green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and mix well. Add the marinated cauliflower, saute on high heat for two minutes. Reduce the heat and cover and cook for half an hour or till done.
