Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiled noodles 
  • 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (til oil)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped ginger 
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic 
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • Chopped spring onion greens for garnishing 
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Roast sesame seeds in a non-stick pan till fragrant and light brown. Transfer into a bowl.
  2. Heat sesame oil in the same pan. Add ginger and garlic and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add noodles and salt and toss. Add soy sauce and toss.
  4. Add toasted sesame seeds, reserving some for garnishing, and toss lightly.
  5. Add vinegar and toss.
  6. Garnish with spring onion greens and reserved sesame seeds and serve hot.
