By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Prawns (medium), Tomato puree Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Prawn Curry with Tomato 1 cup Prawns (medium) shelled and deveined ½ cup Tomato puree to taste Salt ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 4 Dried red chillies 4-5 Cloves 4-5 Black peppercorns 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds 1 tablespoon Oil 1 medium Onion chopped 1 cup Coconut milk 2 Green chillies slit Method Take prawns in a bowl. Add salt, turmeric powder and ginger-garlic paste, mix well and set aside. Grind together dried red chillies, cloves, peppercorns and coriander seeds with some water to a fine paste. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion, mix and sauté till golden. Add prepared paste, mix and cook for a minute. Add prawns, mix and sauté for a minute. Add tomato puree and mix well. Add some water, mix, cover and cook on low heat for 2 minutes. Add coconut milk, mix and cook on high heat for a minute. Add green chillies, mix and bring to a boil.
