By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 May 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Cottage cheese (malai paneer), Samosa pattis Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Malai Paneer Samosa - SK Khazana 1 cup Cottage cheese (malai paneer) grated 8-12 Samosa pattis 1 tablespo for deep-frying Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2 teaspoons Garlic finely chopped 1 teaspoon Ginger finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon Green chillies finely chopped 1 Medium onion finely chopped 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 cup Green peas boiled to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder to seal Refined flour slurry Method Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and let the seeds change colour. Add garlic, ginger and green chillies, mix and sauté for a minute. Add onion, mix and sauté till translucent. Add turmeric powder and mix. Add green peas and mix. Add cottage cheese, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and garam masala powder, mix well and cook for a minute. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Fold samosa pattis into cones, stuff with cottage cheese mixture and shape into samosas, sealing the edges with slurry. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, slide in the samosas and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
