Ingredients list for Makkai Na Bhajia
- 1 kilogram Corn kernels
- 3 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
- 4 Green chillies
- 1 piece Ginger
- 6-7 cloves Garlic
- 1 small bunch Fresh coriander leaves
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Remove the fresh corn kernels and grind it coarsely. Make ginger, garlic and green chilli paste. Wash and chop coriander leaves. Take ground corn in a bowl and mix in rest of the ingredients. Add little water to form a batter. Heat oil in the kadhai and drop teaspoonfuls in hot oil. Deep fry the bhajias till golden. Drain onto an absorbent paper and serve hot.
