By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Dec 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Sweetcorn kernels (makai), Oil Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Makai ke Pakode 1 cup Sweetcorn kernels (makai) to deep fry Oil 4 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) 1/2 teaspoon Green chillies , finely chopped 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves paste , chopped 1 tablespoon Fresh mint leaves , chopped 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Sugar 2 teaspoons Lemon juice to garnish Green chilli , fried Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Take sweetcorn kernels in bowl, add gram flour, green chillies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, sugar, lemon juice and a little water. Add 1 tablespoon hot oil and mix. Drop small portions of the mixture into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
