By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients White bread slices, Oil Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Jain Bread Cutlet 6-8 White bread slices for shallo for greasing Oil ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 tablespoon White sesame seeds 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped 1 teaspoon Sugar to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Lemon juice 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Advertisment Method Discard the edges of bread slices. Roughly chop the breads and transfer in a bowl. Add little water and crush it completely. Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, sesame seeds, green chillies, sugar, salt, lemon juice and coriander. Mix well and knead into a soft dough. Grease the sides of heart shaped cookie cutter with oil, place a portion of dough on a worktop and cut out heart shaped cutlet using the cookie cutter. Similarly prepare the rest. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Place the cutlets and shallow-fry on low heat till both sides are crisp and brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot along with tomato ketchup.
