By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Oct 2015 in Recipes Course New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Advertisment Main Ingredients Basa fillets, Fresh coriander leaves Cuisine Karnataka Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Green Masala Steamed Fish 6 pieces Basa fillets 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 10-12 Fresh mint leaves chopped Juice of 2 lemons 1 cup Fresh coconut scraped to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns 3 teaspoons Oil 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 5-6 Curry leaves 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 5-6 Banana leaves Method Combine coriander leaves, mint leaves, lemon juice, coconut, salt, crushed peppercorns and 1 teaspoon oil in a grinder jar and grind into a smooth paste. Transfer the ground paste into a bowl. Add fish and mix well. Set aside to marinate for a few minutes. Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves and let the seeds splutter. Add turmeric powder and mix well. Place each marinated fish piece on a banana leaf and pour the flavoured oil on top of them. Fold from all sides and secure with toothpicks. Heat sufficient water in a steamer. Place the fish packets in it, cover and steam for 5-7 minutes.
