By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Oct 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Boneless chicken legs, Spinach Cuisine Chinese Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Crackling Spinach Chicken-SK Khazana 400 grams Boneless chicken legs cut into 1/2 inchSpin pieces 2 cups Spinach shredded to taste Salt to taste White pepper powder 1 tablespo teaspoon Soy sauce 3 1/2 teaspoons Garlic chopped 1 1/2 teaspoons Red chilli flakes 1 tablespoon Cornflour to deep fry Oil 1 tablespo teaspoon Sesame oil 1 teaspoon Ginger chopped 1 teaspoon Celery chopped 1 Dried red chilli 1 teaspoon Sugar 1 Medium onion quartered and layers separated 2 teaspoons Cornflour slurry 1/2 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1.2 tablespoon Spring onion greens chopped Method Put chicken pieces in a bowl. Add salt, pepper powder, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic, 1 teaspoon chilli flakes and cornflour. Mix well and set aside for 10-15 minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry spinach till crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Deep-fry chicken pieces in the same oil till crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a non-stick pan. Add 1½ teaspoons garlic, ginger and celery, mix and sauté till fragrant. Break and add red chilli along with 1 teaspoon soy sauce and mix well. Add ¼ cup water and stir. Add salt, sugar, onion and cornflour slurry and mix. Add fried chicken and mix well. Add coriander leaves and spring onion greens and mix well. Set aside. Heat 1 teaspoon sesame oil in another non-stick pan. Add remaining garlic and sauté till lightly browned. Add remaining chilli flakes, fried spinach and salt and toss well. Transfer the chicken onto a serving platter.
