Ingredients list for Baked Methi Bites-SK Khazana

  • 1 cup Fresh fenugreek leaves (methi) chopped
  • 1 cup Semolina (rawa/suji)
  • 3/4 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • to taste Salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 14 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/3 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 Small onion finely chopped
  • 3 tablespo for greasing Oil
  • as required Milk

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180˚C.
  2. Sieve semolina into a bowl. Add gram flour, baking soda, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, garlic, onion, fenugreek leaves and oil and mix well. Add milk and mix into a thick batter.
  3. Grease a barfi tray with some oil and spread the mixture evenly in it. Tap the tray lightly on the worktop to settle the batter evenly.
  4. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat, cool and demould.
  5. Cut into squares and serve.
