Ingredients
- 400 grams boneless chicken leg, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli sauce
- ¼ teaspoon white pepper powder
- ¼ teaspoon white vinegar
- 1½ tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1 fresh red chilli, diagonally sliced + for garnish
- ½ teaspoon brown sugar
- 1½ tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
- Take chicken in a bowl, add salt, light soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli sauce, white pepper powder and vinegar and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 20 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in a shallow non-stick pan, add the marinated chicken and sauté on high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Add onions and salt, mix and cook on high heat till the onions turn golden brown.
- Add oyster sauce, red chilli and brown sugar and mix well. Cook on high heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Add coriander leaves and mix well.
- Transfer the chicken into a serving bowl, garnish with fresh red chilli and serve hot.
