Ingredients
- 1½ cups oats flour
- 1 small carrot, grated
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 2-3 green chillies, chopped
- Oil for drizzling
- Green chutney to serve
Method
- Take oats flour in a bowl, add carrot, onion, coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt and green chillies and mix well.
- Add 1 cup water, and knead into soft dough.
- Take a non-stick tawa, place a portion of the dough on it, dip your fingers in water and spread it into a thick disc. Make a few holes in the center.
- Place the non-stick tawa on heat and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat. Drizzle a little oil. Flip and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes or until golden and crisp.
- Make more thalipeeth with the remaining dough.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
