Ingredients
- 2 cups dried cluster beans (gavar)
- Oil for deep frying
- Spice mix
- 1½ teaspoons red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon chaat masala
- ¼ teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- Black salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- Salt to taste
Method
- To make spice mix, combine red chilli powder, chaat masala, dried mango powder, coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, black salt, and salt in a bowl.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, gently slide in the dried cluster beans in batches and deep- fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Transfer the fried cluster beans into a bowl, sprinkle some spice mix and toss till well combined.
Transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
