Kele Mulik

Ingredients

Method

  1. Put banana pieces into a blender jar, add jaggery and blend into a fine paste. Transfer this into a bowl, add salt, green cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and semolina and mix well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. 
  3. Add whole wheat flour to the banana mixture and mix well.
  4. Dip your fingers in water and take small portions of the mixture, shape into a ball, gently slide into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. 
  5. Arrange in a serving bowl and serve.
