Haldi Ki Panjiri

Ingredients

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add fresh turmeric and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Drain and keep in a plate.
  2. Add wheat flour to the same pan and sauté on medium heat for 10-15 minutes or till fragrant.
  3. Add sauteed turmeric, mix and continue to sauté for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Add almonds, pistachios and cashewnuts and mix well.
  5. Add green cardamom powder, dried ginger powder and crushed black peppercorns and mix well. Take the pan off the heat, transfer into a deep bowl and allow to cool.
  6. Add jaggery powder and mix well.
  7. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
