Ingredients
- 1¼ cups almond flour
- 2-3 tablespoons almond flakes + to sprinkle
- 1½ cups chopped dark chocolate
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- Chopped milk chocolate to sprinkle
Method
- Preheat oven to 180º C.
- Take dark chocolate in a bowl, add butter and melt in microwave on high for 1 minute.
- Take brown sugar in another bowl, break 2 eggs into this bowl, add vanilla essence and beat till light and fluffy.
- Add butter-chocolate mixture and mix well.
- Sift cocoa powder and baking powder directly into the bowl. Add almond flour and mix.
- Sift cornflour into the bowl and mix well.
- Add almond flakes and mix well. Pour the prepared batter into a greased and lined glass baking dish.
- Sprinkle almond flakes and milk chocolate. Keep the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Bring the dish out of the oven and allow to cool. Demould and keep on the worktop, cut into squares, arrange them on a serving plate and serve.
