Almond Brownie

A brownie is a chocolate baked dessert which come in a variety of forms and may be either fudgy or cakey. Here we have added almond flour and almond flakes that give it a richness that is very pleasant to taste.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180º C.
  2. Take dark chocolate in a bowl, add butter and melt in microwave on high for 1 minute.
  3. Take brown sugar in another bowl, break 2 eggs into this bowl, add vanilla essence and beat till light and fluffy.
  4. Add butter-chocolate mixture and mix well.
  5. Sift cocoa powder and baking powder directly into the bowl. Add almond flour and mix.
  6. Sift cornflour into the bowl and mix well.
  7. Add almond flakes and mix well. Pour the prepared batter into a greased and lined glass baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle almond flakes and milk chocolate. Keep the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  9. Bring the dish out of the oven and allow to cool. Demould and keep on the worktop, cut into squares, arrange them on a serving plate and serve.
