Ingredients
- 2 packets of instant Korean noodles (140 grams)
- ½ teaspoon red chilli flakes + to sprinkle
- 2-3 tablespoons oil
- 5-6 garlic cloves
- 1 spring onion with greens
- 2 teaspoons white sesame seeds + to sprinkle
- ¼ teaspoon dark soy sauce
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- Diagonally sliced spring onion greens for garnish
Method
- Boil sufficient water in a deep non-stick pan, add instant noodles and boil for 4-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Slice garlic cloves. Chop spring onion. Transfer both into a bowl.
- Add red chilli flakes, white sesame seeds, dark soy sauce, salt, Instant noodles spice mix and crushed black peppercorns and mix well.
- Heat oil in a small pan and add to the red chilli flakes mixture and mix well. Add boiled noodles to this mixture and mix with light hands.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle red chilli flakes and white sesame seeds, garnish with spring onion greens and serve.
