Ingredients
- 4 cheese slices
- 4 eggs
- 4 white bread slices
- Butter as required
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- 4 teaspoons chopped onion
- 4 teaspoons chopped tomato
- 4 teaspoons chopped carrot
- 4 teaspoons chopped button mushrooms
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- 4 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 4 teaspoons chopped chicken salami
Method
- Cut the bread slices into squares with a square cookie cutter. Retain the outer frame of the slices.
- Heat a non-stick tawa. Spread butter evenly and place the bread slice outer frames on it.
- Break 1 egg into the cavity of each frame. Sprinkle salt and crushed black peppercorns.
- Sprinkle onions, tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms, green chillies, coriander leaves and chicken salami on top.
- Place cheese slices on top and finally cover with the cut bread squares.
- Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Flip, add some more butter and cook on other side for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
- Cut each sandwich into two triangles, place them on a serving platter and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
