Ingredients
- ¾ cup Pro V Select Afghan Whole Natural Black Raisins
- 2 tablespoons oil
- ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
- 1½ teaspoons fennel seeds(saunf)
- 1 teaspoon onion seeds (kalaunji)
- 2-3 dried red chillies, diagonally cut
- Black salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
Method
- Take Pro V Select Afghan Whole Natural Black Raisins in a bowl, add sufficient water and soak for 1 hour.
- Drain and transfer into a grinder jar and grind coarsely.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and when they begin to splutter, add fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, onion seeds and dried red chillies, mix well and saute for 1 minute.
- Add the ground paste, mix and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Add black salt, roasted cumin powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, allow to cool and serve.
