Ingredients

  • 1½ cups roughly chopped pineapple
  • 2-3 fresh red chillies, chopped
  • 6-8 garlic cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon fennel seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon onion seeds
  • 1 cup mango juice
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • Chicken fingers for serving

Method

  1. Heat a non-stick pan, add pineapple, fresh red chillies, garlic, fennel seeds, onion seeds, mango juice, sugar, salt and vinegar and mix well.
  2. Cover and cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool completely. Transfer into a grinder jar and grind to fine paste. Strain through a fine sieve into a bowl.
  4. Transfer into a bottle and serve as and when need with any snack.
