Ingredients list for Vendakkai Mor Thalippu
- 200 grams Ladyfinger
- 2 cups Yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Rice flour
- 2-3 tablespoons Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
- 2-3 Dried red chillies
- 1 medium Onion sliced
- 6-8 Curry leaves
- 2 Green chillies slit
- to taste Salt
Method
- Whip yogurt with turmeric powder and rice flour till smooth.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan and add mustard seeds.
- When they splutter, add fenugreek seeds, red chillies, onion, curry leaves and green chillies and sauté.
- Cut ladyfingers into 2 inch pieces and add and sauté well.
- Add whipped yogurt and mix well.
- Add ½ cup little water and salt and mix well.
- Cover and cook for 2 minutes on low heat.
Serve hot.
