Ingredients list for Vegetable Chowmein
- 1 1/2 cups Noodles boiled
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped
- 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped
- 4-5 Spring onion bulbs sliced
- 1 Small carrot peeled and cut into thin strips
- 1 cup Cabbage shredded
- to taste Salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli sauce
- 2 tablespoon Spring onion greens chopped
- to garnish Spring onion curls
Method
- Heat 2 tbsps oil in non-stick pan, add garlic and ginger and sauté till raw smells disappear. Add green chillies and spring onions, mix and sauté till translucent.
- Add carrot and cabbage, mix and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add noodles, salt, soy sauce, red chilli sauce and 1 tbsp spring onion greens, mix well and saute for 1 minute. Add the remaining spring onion greens.
- Transfer the chowmein into a serving bowl, garnish with spring onion curls and serve hot.
