Ingredients list for Varadhi Thetcha

  • 20-25 Green chillies
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 12-16 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons Vinegar
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and ginger and stir-fry briefly. Add whole red chillies and continue stir-frying for half a minute more. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Grind above mixture with lemon juice, vinegar, salt and sugar into a fine paste. Serve with bhakris.
