  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon dried red chilli flakes
  • ½ teaspoon chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli sauce
  • 200 grams frozen potato wedges
  • 2 teaspoons oil + for deep frying
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • ½ teaspoon finely chopped ginger
  • 2-3 spring onion bulbs, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped spring onion greens + for garnish
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnish 


  1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep fry the potato wedges till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  2. Cut the bigger pieces of the potato wedges in half.
  3. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a wok, add garlic, ginger, spring onion bulbs and sauté for a minute.
  4. Add the fried potato wedges and toss well. 
  5. Add dried red chilli flakes and chilli powder and mix well.
  6. Add red chilli sauce and mix well. Add spring onion greens, chopped coriander, honey and salt and toss till well combined.
  7. Transfer the prepared mixture on a serving plate, garnish with spring onion greens and chopped coriander and serve hot.
