Ingredients for Tadkewali Dal -SK Khazana Recipe

  • Split skinless green gram (dhuli moong dal) soaked for 10-15 minutes and drained 1/2 cup

  • Split skinless red lentil (masoor dal) soaked for 10-15 minutes and drained 1/4 cup

  • Split skinless pigeon pea (toor dal) soaked for 10-15 minutes and drained 1/4 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Ghee 3 tablespoons

  • Oil 1/2 teaspoon

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Onion medium, finely chopped 1

  • Asafoetida 1/4 teaspoon

  • Ginger crushed 1/2 inch

  • Garlic cloves crushed 6-7

  • Green chillies chopped 1-2

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspo + for sprinkling

  • Dal tadka masala 1/2 tablespoon

  • Tomato large, finely chopped 1

  • Dried button red chillies 2-3

  • Chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnish
