This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Feb 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Rice, Oil Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Spicy Rice Pakoras 1 cup Rice boiled for deep-frying Oil 1 inch Ginger finely chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder 1/2 tsp + Chaat masala to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Peanuts crushed 2 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) 7-8 Fresh coriander sprigs Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Combine rice, ginger, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, salt, peanuts and gram flour in a bowl. Roughly chop coriander sprigs, add to the bowl and mix well. Divide the mixture into equal portions. Dampen your palms with some water and flatten each portion into small discs. These are pakoras. Deep-fry the pakoras in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
