Ingredients list for Spicy Prawn Bharta
- 1 cup Shrimps cleaned
- 1 tablespoon Tomatoes
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 4 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 2 medium Tomatoes chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
- a pinch Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion, ginger-garlic paste and sauté till the onion is light brown. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, mix well and sauté for a few seconds.
- Add tomatoes, mix well and saute for a minute. Add shrimps and salt, mix well and cook for a few minutes. Add vinegar and sugar, mix well and switch off the heat. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Serve hot with steamed rice.
