By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Shrimps, Tomatoes Cuisine Goan Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Spicy Prawn Bharta 1 cup Shrimps cleaned 1 tablespoon Tomatoes 1 medium Onion finely chopped 4 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder 2 medium Tomatoes chopped to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Vinegar a pinch Sugar 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion, ginger-garlic paste and sauté till the onion is light brown. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, mix well and sauté for a few seconds. Add tomatoes, mix well and saute for a minute. Add shrimps and salt, mix well and cook for a few minutes. Add vinegar and sugar, mix well and switch off the heat. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Serve hot with steamed rice.
