Ingredients list for Spicy Chicken and Cheese Sandwich
- 250 grams grams Boneless chicken cut into strips
- ½ cup Processed cheese grated
- ½ cup Mozzarella cheese grated
- 8 White bread slices
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 medium Onion sliced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
- to taste Salt
- 1 medium Tomato chopped
- as required Butter
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté till golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté for 2 minutes. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chaat masala and salt and mix well.
- Add chicken strips, mix and cook on high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato, mix, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes. Transfer in a bowl and set aside.
- Spread some butter on 4 bread slices. Place cooked chicken on them, top with processed cheese and mozzarella cheese and cover with remaining 4 bread slices. Spread some more butter on top.
- Heat a non-stick sandwich griller. Place the sandwiches on it, cover and grill till grill marks appear on both sides and the cheese melts.
- Cut into rectangles and serve hot.
