Ingredients list for Spicy Chicken Lollypops
- 12-16 Chicken lollypops
- 1 tablespoon Sichuan sauce
- Red chilli powder
- 2 teaspoons Lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
- 1 tablespoon Yogurt
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- 4-5 tablespoon Oil
- 1 medium Capsicum cut into strips
- 1 medium Tomato cut into strips
- 1 medium Onion thickly sliced
- to sprinkle Chaat masala 1 teaspoon +
- 3-4 Iceberg lettuce leaves
- to serve Lemon wedges
Method
- Put lollypops in a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, Sichuan sauce, yogurt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add marinated lollypops, apply leftover marinade on top and sear on high heat for 2-3 minutes. Flip, lower heat, cover and cook till the chicken is fully done.
- To make salad, put capsicum, tomato, onion, salt, chaat masala, remaining lemon juice and hand torn lettuce leaves in a bowl and mix well.
- Transfer the lollypops onto a serving plate. Place the salad along, sprinkle chaat masala on top and serve hot with a lemon wedge.
