Ingredients
- 3 medium bunches spinach
- 50 grams khatta Bhaji
- 50 grams dill leaves
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
- 10 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 inch ginger piece, chopped
- 3 green chillies, chopped
- 2 medium potatoes, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1/2 cup split Bengal gram (chana dal), soaked
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons red chilli powder
- 2 tablespoons coriander powder
Method
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and sauté till they change colour.
- Add garlic, ginger and green chillies and continue to sauté.
- Chop spinach, khatta bhaji, and dill leaves
- Add potatoes and mix well. Add chana dal and all the greens and mix.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and mix.
- Add a little water and mix well. Close the cooker with the lid and cook under pressure till 1-2 whistles are given out.
- Open the lid when the pressure reduces and blend with a hand blender.
- Serve hot.
