Ingredients list for Sabziwala Pasta

  • 100 grams Macaroni boiled
  • Potatoes
  • 1 medium Carrot
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 medium Potatoes
  • 10-12 florets Cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup Green peas shelled
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 cup Fresh tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder

Method

  1. Roughly chop onions. Heat olive oil in a pressure cooker. Add bay leaf and cumin seeds and sauté for one minute.
    Add onions and sauté till lightly coloured. Cut carrot and potatoes into small cubes and add.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt and mix well.
    Add macaroni, cauliflower, green peas, two cups water and tomato puree and mix well.
  3. Add garam masala powder and mix. Close the cooker and cook under pressure till two whistles are given out.
    When the pressure reduces completely open the lid. Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl and serve hot.
