Ingredients
- 400 grams cottage cheese (paneer)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tbsp roasted gram (dalia) flour
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- ½ tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh malai
- 1 tbsp cashew nut paste
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 2 tsps lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil
- Lemon wedge as required
- Seekh parantha to serve
- Onion rings to serve
- Cherry tomato halves to serve
- Fresh mint leaves to serve
Method
- Take cottage cheese in a large bowl, add green chilli-ginger-garlic paste, gram flour, red chilli powder and chaat masala and garam masala powder, salt, malai, cashew nut paste, coriander leaves and lemon juice and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions. Pat each portion onto a satay stick.
- Heat oil in a non-stick grill pan, place the kebabs on it and cook, rotating the satay sticks, till golden brown on all sides.
- Drizzle some green chutney on paranthe, keep a seekh kebab on each, garnish with onions rings, halved cherry tomatoes and mint sprigs and serve immediately.
