Ingredients
- 15-20 button mushrooms
- 1 cup soya chunks, soaked in warm water for 30 minutes
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 cup skimmed milk yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add bay leaf and onions and saute till lightly browned.
- Meanwhile halve the mushrooms.
- Add tomatoes, mix and saute for 1-2minutes. Add mushrooms, mix and continue to saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Add Squeeze the soya chunks and add. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger and garlic and mix well.
- Add skimmed milk yogurt and mix. Add salt, red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix.
- Add ½ cup water and mix well. When the mixture comes to a boil, cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot with hot phulkas or chapattis.
