By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Mar 2017 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Chicken mince, Bread slices Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Meat Loaf Sandwich 400 grams Chicken mince 8 Bread slices 1 medium Onion chopped 5-6 Garlic cloves chopped to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon Red chilli sauce 1 Egg a few sprigs Fresh herbs (thyme, sage) 1 medium Onion onion 2 tablespoons Butter 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise 4-5 Lettuce leaves Method Put chicken mince, chopped onion, garlic, salt, coriander leaves, red chilli flakes and red chilli sauce in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Add egg and mix well with your hands till well combined. Heat a little water in a steamer. Finely chop fresh herbs and add to the chicken mixture and mix well. Take a non-stick loaf tin of a size thatwill fit into the steamer, put the prepared mixture intoit and spread it evenly with your hands. Tap the tin gently to make sure there are no air pockets. Place it in the steamer and steam for twenty to twenty five minutes or till chicken is done. Take it out and set aside. Heat a griller, and place the onion rings over it till they get caramelized. Slice the chicken loaf. Apply butter on all the bread slices, arrange the chicken loaf slices on half of them and put the caramelized onion rings over them. Drizzle some mayonnaise, place some lettuce leaves and cover with remaining slices of bread. Apply butter on the top of the bread and put in the griller till there are grill marks. Cut into eightpieces,place them on a serving plate and serve hot.
