By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2017 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Boneless chicken, Semolina (rawa/suji) Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Malwani Chicken Rawa Fry 1/2 cup Boneless chicken cubed 1/2 cup Semolina (rawa/suji) 1/2 inch Cinnamon 3-4 Black peppercorns 2-3 Cloves 1 Green chilli 1/2 inch Ginger 4-5 Garlic cloves 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped to taste Salt Juice of ½ lemon 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Malwani masala 1/2 cup Yogurt for shallow frying Oil 1/2 cup Rice flour Method Grind together cinnamon, peppercorns, cloves, green chilli, ginger, garlic and chopped coriander alongwith some water to a fine paste. Take chicken in a bowl. Add salt, lemon juice, turmeric powder, Malwanimasala and yogurt and mix well. Add prepared paste, mix and set aside for 15-20 minutes. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Take rice flour and semolina in a plate and mix well.Coat chicken pieces with rice flour-semolina mixture. Shallow-fry the prepared chicken from both sides in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot garnished with a mint sprig and lemon slice.
