Ingredients list for Malai Paneer Samosa - SK Khazana
- 1 cup Cottage cheese (malai paneer) grated
- 8-12 Samosa pattis
- 1 tablespo for deep-frying Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoons Garlic finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Ginger finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Green chillies finely chopped
- 1 Medium onion finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup Green peas boiled
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- to seal Refined flour slurry
Method
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and let the seeds change colour.
- Add garlic, ginger and green chillies, mix and sauté for a minute. Add onion, mix and sauté till translucent.
- Add turmeric powder and mix. Add green peas and mix. Add cottage cheese, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add salt and garam masala powder, mix well and cook for a minute. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
- Fold samosa pattis into cones, stuff with cottage cheese mixture and shape into samosas, sealing the edges with slurry.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, slide in the samosas and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Arrange them on a serving platter and serve hot with a bowl of tomato ketchup.
