Ingredients list for Makkai Na Bhajia

  • 1 kilogram Corn kernels
  • 3 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
  • 4 Green chillies
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 6-7 cloves Garlic
  • 1 small bunch Fresh coriander leaves
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Remove the fresh corn kernels and grind it coarsely. Make ginger, garlic and green chilli paste. Wash and chop coriander leaves. Take ground corn in a bowl and mix in rest of the ingredients. Add little water to form a batter. Heat oil in the kadhai and drop teaspoonfuls in hot oil. Deep fry the bhajias till golden. Drain onto an absorbent paper and serve hot.
