Ingredients list for Keema Pav - SK Khazana
- 250 grams Mutton mince (keema)
- 6 Pairi mangoes
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 2 Large onions finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 Green chillies diagonally sliced
- 2 Medium tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 cup Green peas boiled
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 4 Emmental cheese slices
- 4 Cheddar cheese slices
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and sauté till they change colour. Add onions and sauté till lightly browned.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Add green chillies, mutton mince, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and mix well.
- Add some water and mix. Add salt and mix. Add green peas and some more water, mix, cover and cook till fully done. Add lemon juice and mix.
- Halve pavs horizontally. Spread cooked mutton mixture on the base half, top with emmental and cheddar cheese slices and cover with the top half.
- Place the pavs on a baking tray and cover with aluminium foil. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot.
