By Sanjeev Kapoor 12 Aug 2015 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Mixed Bhel, Yogurt Cuisine Indian Course Dals and Kadhis Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 41-50 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Kadhi Bhel 1 cup Mixed Bhel 2 cups Yogurt to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Gram flour (besan) 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Dried ginger powder (soonth) 1 teaspoon Ghee 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2 Green chillies finely chopped 4-5 Curry leaves for garnishing Chopped fresh coriander leaves Method Heat yogurt in a non-stick pan. Add salt, a little water and gram flour and blend well with a hand blender. Add turmeric powder, sugar and dried ginger powder, mix well and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Heat ghee in another non-stick pan and add cumin seeds. When they change colour, add green chillies and curry leaves and sauté for half a minute. Pour this tempering into the yogurt mixture and mix well. Cool down to room temperature. Put bhel in a serving dish, pour the kadhi on top, garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
