Ingredients list for Indian Masala Omelette
- 3 Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 2-3 Green chillies chopped
- 2 medium Tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/4 Capsicum chopped
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped
- 2 tablespoons Processed cheese grated
- 1 medium Onion chopped
Method
- Heat one tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies sauté and add onions. Sauté till golden brown.
- Add tomatoes, sauté for two minutes on high heat.
- Add rec chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and stir well.
- Add salt and mix well. Sprinkle some water and mix well.
- Add sugar and capsicum and mix well.
- Switch off heat and allow it to cool.
- Break the eggs in a bowl. Add little salt and beat well.
- Add the prepared mixture to the eggs and mix well.
- Add coriander and mix well. Add cheese and mix.
- Heat remaining oil in a nonstick pan. Pour the mixture and spread evenly.
- Lower the heat. Cover and cook for two to three minutes or till eggs are cooked.
- Remove in a serving plate and serve hot with toasted bread.
