By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Oct 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Green peas, Yogurt Cuisine Indian Course Dals and Kadhis Prep Time Preparation Time Cook time Cooking Time Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Green Peas Kadhi 1 cup Green peas boiled 1 cup Yogurt 1/2 teaspoon Gram flour (besan) 1/2 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon Tomato puree 2 teaspoons Oil 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds a pinch Asafoetida 2 tablespoons Onion paste to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Fresh cream 1 teaspoon Lemon juice Method Put yogurt, gram flour, cumin powder, chilli powder and tomato puree in a bowl and mix well. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and let it change colour. Add asafoetida and onion paste, mix and sauté on a medium heat for one minute. Add the yogurt mixture, green peas and salt, mix well and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, for five to six minutes or till the mixture thickens. Add cream and mix well. Switch off heat, add lemon juice and mix well.
