Ingredients list for Gobhi Keema

  • 1 medium Cauliflower
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 3-4 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dried mango powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder

Method

  1. Finely chop ginger and green chillies. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add asafoetida, cumin seeds, ginger and green chillies and sauté for a minute.
  2. Grate cauliflower into the pan and mix well.
  3. Add turmeric powder, salt, dried mango powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
  4. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes. Add milk and mix.
  5. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add lemon juice, cover and cook again. Serve hot.
