By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 May 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium carrots, Green peas Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Gajar Matar ki Sabzi - SK Khazana 4 Medium carrots peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes 1 cup Green peas 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 inches Ginger cut into thin strips 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons Coriander powder to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Dried mango powder (amchur) 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and sauté till it changes colour. Add ginger and sauté for 30-40 seconds. Add carrots, sauté and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt and mix well. Add ½ cup water, mix well, cover and cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Add green peas, mix well. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add dried mango powder, lemon juice and coriander leaves, mix well and remove from heat.
