By Sanjeev Kapoor 02 May 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Mutton mince, Burger buns Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Desi Sloppy Joes -SK Khazana 250 grams Mutton mince 4 Burger buns 2 tablespoons Oil 1 Onion large, finely chopped 1/2 tablespoon Garlic paste 1/2 tablespoon Ginger paste 1 cup Fresh tomato puree 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 1 tablespoon Coriander powder 1 1/2 teaspoons Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 2 Green chillies chopped 3 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped Butter as required French fries to serve Onion rings to serve Lemon wedge to serve Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onion and sauté till translucent. Add garlic paste and ginger paste, mix well and saute for 1 minute. Add tomato puree, mix well and saute till the oil separates. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and green chillies, mix well. Mix well. Add mutton mince, mix well. Add salt, mix well and saute on high heat for 5-6 minutes. Add coriander leaves and ¾ cup water, mix well, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180˚C. Halve the burger buns, apply butter on both sides, place them on a baking tray, keep the tray in the preheated oven and toast it for 5-7 minutes. Keep the top of the buns aside. Place a generous portion of the mutton mixture on each bun base. Place a cheese slice over the mutton mixture. Keep the tray back in the hot oven and bake for 5 minutes or till the cheese melts. Take it out of the oven and place the top half of the buns over the cheese.
