Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups yogurt
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green chilli, slit
- 3/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
- Heat the oil in a non-stick kadai. Add the cumin seeds and sauté till they begin to change colour. Add the onion and green chilli and sauté till the onion turns light brown.
- Add the turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder, and stir. Add the yogurt and salt and stir lightly. Add the garam masala powder and mix well.
- Remove from heat, garnish with the chopped coriander and serve hot with roti.
